21 September 2018 Catalogue of Good People The Komsomolskaya Pravda Newspaper, Komi Edition, invites the readers of the National Library to take part in a charity photo shooting within the library building. Money donated by the participants will be allocated at the Children’s Hospital Charity Foundation.
The photo shooting is part of the project named Catalogue of Good People that promotes reading as an ever-fashionable and meaningful activity in the digital age.
Ideas from photographers
We are looking for photographers who would like to join our charity project. We cannot offer any commercial benefits, but will be grateful for your creative ideas and personal contribution to the partnership project of the leading newspaper and the National Library. Your proposals for photo settings are very welcome. For an hour or longer, you can work with the models within the library settings, getting access to the depositories, reading rooms, library museum and other sections normally closed for the visitors. After the photo shooting, you need to provide at least 10 e-snapshots to be posted in our Catalogue of Good People at the newspaper website komi.kp.ru. The best photos will also enter an exhibition at the library.
You are a model!
Any patron of the library can try themselves as a photo model and choose a setting for the shooting. All you need to do is donate at least 300 rubles to the Children’s Hospital Charity Foundation. If you wish to have a photo with your favourite book, we will publish your story together with the photo. This could be the beginning of a new extraordinary family tradition.
All the money donated through this initiative will be transferred to the Children’s Hospital Charity Foundation established at the Komi Republic Children’s Clinic. The money will be used to buy board games for the little patients. Playing games, the kids staying at the hospital do not only have fun, but also make friends and feel less homesick away from their families.
