New Year Calendar on

When Germans came up with the idea of a Christmas Advent calendar, they knew too well how to boost a child's excitement and make the anticipation of Christmas truly magical. Every day a child would open a window to find a tiny surprise and rejoice in the upcoming holidays.

We decided to borrow the idea and create our own New Year's calendar, with a touch of local colouring:

- our calendar will have 31 windows in it, not 24 (as in Europe);
- as surprises there will be not sweets that are not good for children's teeth, but magnetic pieces of a puzzle;
- each window will have a unique QR code which will give you access to an audio recording of a Komi fairy tale in Russian. So our countdown calendar will bring bedtime stories for kids.

Our New Year project is placed on the crowdfunding platform - We hope this collective funding service will help us raise the amount needed to create the calendars.

- You can support the project by donating just 100 rubles.

- For a donation of 550 rubles you will receive the calendar by mail.

- For a donation of 1,000 rubles we will send you a personalized calendar with your name on it.
