Library Programme at KomiExpoTravel 7-8 December the National Library of the Komi Republic participated in KomiExpoTravel - international forum and exhibition. The guests of the library stand took part in the interactive programme - Our Republic from A to Z. The quiz included questions about prominent people in culture, sport and arts, general information about the regions and towns of Komi, coats of arms of municipalities of the Komi Republic.
Chief librarian of the Department of Komi National Literature Elena Vyborova presented the electronic travel guide of the region created by the specialists of the library – Cultural Map of the Komi Republic.
The online resource is used not only to find our more information about the republic, but also to plan visits to the region, learn about sightseeing places, and check the calendar of events. The library also presented the learning game for children - Travels in the Republic. The game acquainted the players with nature, history and local traditions of the republic of Komi.
The guests of the exhibition could get free registration at LitRes electronic library. The LitRes application now offers not only digital texts, but also audio books for the patrons of the National Library of Komi. |
