Plastic Caps Doing Good The environmental project, Plastic Caps Doing Good, initiated by the National Library of Komi is ongoing. The project was launched in August 2017 following the suit of many countries, including Spain, Turkey and Argentina.
So far more than one ton of plastic caps were collected and delivered for recycling. All the money received for the waste materials is sent to the Non-Profit Children's Foundation - Power of Good - for the implementation of charity programmes.
Anyone can take part in the initiative by collecting plastic waste separately and delivering it to any of the numerous reception points or starting a new reception point at a public place.
The slogan for the project is "look into the future - live in the present". |
