Catalogue of Good People

In 2018, the Komsomolskaya Pravda Newspaper, Komi Edition, and the National Library of the Komi Republic invited their patrons to take part in a fund-raising initiative to support the Children’s Hospital Charity Foundation.

Citizens of Syktyvkar could have a photo shooting session in the library interiors with a professional photographer. Money paid by the participants for the photos was donated to the Children's Hospital Charity Foundation in order to purchase table-top games and toys for little patients who stay in the hospital for a long time and need to feel at home.

The project named Catalogue of Good People also promoted reading as an ever-fashionable and meaningful activity in the digital age.

The best photos were displayed at the exhibition and now are used for the library's marketing needs.

Enjoy the gallery of these creative portraits in the library environment!
