Small Businesses are Welcome at the Library
The National Library of the Komi Republic and the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed a cooperation agreement. With the participation of information and marketing centers of regional and city libraries, the parties plan to jointly hold events for the development and support of small and medium-sized businesses in the republic.
The agreement was signed by director of the National Library Alexei Prosuzhikh and president of the Komi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yuri Kolmakov.
- By signing the agreement we will get a good synergie effect for the development and support of small and medium-sized businesses. As for today's seminar, this is a new and interesting area of activity for us. - said Alexey Prosuzhikh.
Information and marketing centers currently operate in 16 cities and regions of the Komi Republic. For example, the specialists of the Information and Marketing Center of the National Library of Komi annually provide small businesses with about 3,000 consultations. In addition, they help entrepreneurs prepare reports to tax authorities, the pension fund and the social insurance fund.
- Today the library system of the republic has a unique mechanism - an information and marketing center with an extensive communication with local entrepreneurs. Together, we will be able to deliver services to a wide range of business representatives, give feedback in response to their requests on many issues of interest. - added Yuri Kolmakov.
He suggested organizing representative offices of the Komi Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the library information and marketing centers. They will serve to inform the business community, receive questions, appeals and proposals from entrepreneurs.
