Online Marathon - Big Book Award, Meetings in the Province
On September 26-27 2020, the online marathon, Big Book - Meetings in the Province, will be held.
It will open on September 26 with a talk with two members of the jury of the Big Book National Literary Award - publisher Elena Shubina and literary critic Dmitry Buck.
Our readers will have a great opportunity to take part in the web-conference and address their questions to the guest experts live.
The topic of the discussion is "Where is literature heading today?" The speakers will talk about the finalists of the 2020 award. Twelve authors will be introduced to a wide public with a focus on their authentic styles, literary merits and prize-winning fiction.

Shubina Elena - Russian literary critic, editor and publisher, head of the Editorial Board of Elena Shubina publishing house "AST". Dmitry Buck - philologist, literary critic, journalist. PhD in Philology. Has over 250 publications - monographs, articles on the history of classical Russian literature and modern Russian prose and poetry, literary criticism, reviews, translations from English, German and Polish, textbooks for schools and universities, articles on history of education. Member of the Writers' Union since 1995. Full member of the Academy of Russian Contemporary Literature since 1999. Chairman of the Literary Academy and the jury of the VII Big Book National Literary Award (2012).
